Samples of great sorrow and grief were experienced in the cemetery La Piedad (Santiago del Estero), where they were buried the remains of Prof Luis C. Alen Lascano. Relatives and friends of the distinguished historian santiagueño fired him with great sorrow and grief. Touching moments were lived in the place where their loved ones recited words referring to the person of Alen Lascano, highlighting its virtues. They also pledged to continue this legacy to new generations. Lascano Alen was born in Santiago del Estero on October 10, 1930 and died in the same city on September 25, 2010. He devoted himself to journalism and studies historical and literary criticism. Taught at the Normal School "Manuel Belgrano" national association "Absalom Rojas" and national trade school in Santiago del Estero. He ran for Congress by the Radical Party in 1954 and 1958, and deputy national constitutional in 1957. He served as provincial deputy in 1963-1966. Was academic corresponding Santiago del Estero in the National History Academy of Sciences Institute of Genealogical and Historical Research Institute Juan Manuel de Rosas.
